My wonderful husband Scot & I have been married for 33 years.  I am blessed to have married my best friend.  He's been a HUGE support to me through the years.  Scot's love for me and his endless commitment to hard work has enabled me to feed the "entrepreneur animal" within me.  Very few people are able to live their dreams, but with his support, I am one of those fortunate few.

We opened Taste of Home and the antique mall Almost Home in 1999.  An opportunity presented itself and after much prayer, we sold Almost Home in early 2008, purchased then renovated this great little 1901 ceaftsman house we currently occupy.  Taste of Home reopened on June 16, 2008 in it's current location and we've never looked back.  Taste of Home went from a “lunch only” restaurant (affectionatally called "the tea room" by the locals) with a handful of employees to a “full service” restaurant open six days a week with a staff of twenty-three.  Wow, what an amazing journey!  What a testament to God's love, provision and grace.  Scot and I consider Taste of Home to be our mission field in hopes that our guests will see a glimpse of Christ through us.  We are so appreciative and greatful for the support from our friends in Wylie and the surrounding areas. We look forward to many more years of service to our community.
