My wonderful husband Scot & I have been married for 32 years.  I am blessed to have married my best friend.  He's been a HUGE support to me through the years.  Scot's love for me and his endless commitment to hard work has enabled me to feed the "entrepreneur animal" that I possess.  Very few people are able to live their dreams, but with his support, I am one of those fortunate few.

We opened Taste of Home and the antique shop Almost Home in 1999.  After much prayer, we sold Almost Home in early 2008 and purchased and renovated this great little 1901 house we currently occupy.  The restaurant opened on June 16, 2008 in it's current location.  Taste of Home went from a “lunch only” restaurant with seven employees to a “full service” restaurant open six days a week with twenty-three employees.  What an amazing journey.  What a testament to God's provision and grace.  We’re looking forward to many years of continued service to the community.
